We sell designer glasses and sunglasses and eyewear accessories. Our eyewear is available with and without prescription lenses. We do not currently sell contact lenses online but we shall be adding these to our product range in the near future.
What can I purchase from Eyewear Heaven?
Do you sell Bifocal or Varifocal lenses?
Unfortunately we cannot sell varifocal or bifocal lenses online due to the extremely precise measurements required to produce accurate lenses. We can however provide you with your frames so you can have your lenses fitted by a local Optician.
Do you sell children's glasses?
We cannot supply prescription eyewear for under 16's however we can supply you with the frames so you can have your local Optician fit them with prescription lenses.
Do you sell Prescription Sunglasses?
Yes, we have a selection of designer sunglasses which are suitable for fitting with prescription lenses. You can also have prescription sunglasses made up in any prescription frame of your choice simply choose the tint colour you require and proceed to entering your prescription.
Will I get a case and a cloth with my glasses?
Yes, all our eyewear comes with a 100% authentic branded case & lens cloth from the manufacturer.
How can i be sure your glasses are authentic?
All our eyewear is 100% authentic. Many luxury brands are supplied with authenticity cards and care instructions. Many premium items will have serial numbers printed on frame and outer box. These anti fraud measures allow you to verify the purchase you have made is 100% authentic.
We are supplied direct by manufacturer and the sunglasses or glasses you receive will be purchased from the same source as those supplied to boutiques on Rodeo Drive - LA, Sloane St - London and to Opticians worldwide.
What is your returns policy if my glasses arrive and they are not suitable for me?
We do recommend that you try to visit a high street retailer in order to try the frame for size and are sure that you are happy with how it looks. Then, you can purchase online with us to make your saving. However, in the case that you are unhappy for any reason we do accept returns for refund. Please email [email protected] to notify us of reason for return, we will then issue you with a return number and return instructions.
Prescription lenses and postage costs are non-refundable and the frames must arrive at our office within 7 days of you having received them. They must be unworn and in perfect condition complete with all accessories such as box, case, bag, authenticity cards. Once received and inspected we will process your refund. (If your frames have been fitted with our free prescription lenses then a £10 glazing fee will be deducted.)
Who checks my order to make sure I haven't entered anything that is obviously wrong?
Our team checks EVERY order. If we come across anything which we feel is out of the ordinary, or based on our experience looks incorrect, we will get in touch with you by email or phone. (We may ask you to confirm some of your prescription details)
What if I realise I've entered some information incorrectly?
Send an email alerting us of the error to [email protected]. We process orders very rapidly so the sooner you let us know the better. Also, for this reason we ask that you do double-check your prescription and shipping information prior to submitting your order. Once you've placed your order you are given the option of printing it off, we recommend you do this for future reference although we will send you an email confirmation of your order.
Is my purchase covered by a warranty?
At Eyewear Heaven our success is based on customer satisfaction. We guarantee your glasses to be free from any defect arising from faulty workmanship or materials for a period of 12 months from the date of delivery to you.
If a fault arises during this period you should contact our customer services team as soon as possible at [email protected] and we will inform you of what to do next.
How does the Tax Free discount work?
Eyewear Heaven are pleased to offer our non-EU customers a tax-free service. If you live outside the European Union, we can ship goods to you without you having to pay VAT (Value Added Tax). The amount you can save on your order is significant. Simply place your order as normal and at the checkout you will see the saving you have made.

Payment and Delivery
How long will my order take?
Your order will be processed immediately and If your frames or sunglasses are in stock they will be dispatched to you within 5-10 working days although we do quote a fulfilment period of 28 days as some models may be out of stock. However if any items are out of stock we will notify you via email as soon as your order is received with an approximate delivery date.
Do you accept NHS glasses vouchers?
We do indeed accept NHS vouchers. You will need to place your order online as usual and then post your original NHS voucher signed on the back and front to us. We will then process a refund for the value of your voucher back into the account you have paid with. We do strongly advise you use a recorded delivery service to send your voucher to us.
What methods of payment are available for my purchase?
We accept all major credit/debit cards except American Express. We also accept payment by PayPal. Your credit card details will be encrypted and safe. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to Eyewear Heaven, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. We also reserve the right to take advice from SagePay on reliability of your payment.
Is the payment process secure?
Yes, we take information security very seriously. Our website uses unbreakable SSL Encryption and 3D Secure verification for all online transactions.
How much is postage & packaging?
UK delivery is FREE. We use Royal Mail 1st class signed for delivery service as standard. Delivery to the EU is £9.49 and International delivery to Australia & New Zealand is £12.49 and to all other countries it is £11.49. We use Royal Mail international signed for delivery service for overseas shipments as standard however FedEx services are available at an extra cost. Any customs or import duties are charged once the parcel reaches its destination country. These charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel. Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges as customs policies vary from country to country. If you have any questions related to customs charges you are advised to contact your local customs office.
We do offer FREE worldwide delivery on all orders over £250 and all orders from our Oliver Peoples, Dior and Booth & Bruce collections. A signature is requested upon delivery so please make sure there will be someone available at your shipping address. If delivery cannot be made a card may be left to let you know that deliver has been attempted. Follow the instructions on the card to arrange a redelivery.
Can I use brand specific coupon codes against other brands?
No, unfortunately we can only except brand specific coupon codes on the actually product they were offered for.
How long does delivery take?
When your order is ready for dispatch Royal Mail aim to deliver to your UK address the next working day. For international orders, Royal Mail delivery time may vary depending on your location so please be aware that in some cases your item can take up to 25 working days.
I ordered 2 pairs of glasses but have only received 1 pair?
On some occasions one pair of glasses may take slightly longer than the other. We like to get your glasses to you as quickly as possible so if one pair is ready earlier we may dispatch these to you immediately and we will send any subsequent pairs as soon as they have been completed.
How will I know when my order has been shipped?
As soon as your order is dispatched, you will be sent an email to confirm that it's on its way. It should then be delivered within the timescale we advertise. You will receive a tracking number so you can check it's progress.
Can I get my order delivered to my work place?
Yes, however we cannot deliver to PO Box addresses or international equivalents for security reasons. If you want your delivery to reach you at work, you need to be confident that someone will be there to sign for and take receipt of the goods.
Will my delivery be electronically tracked?
Once your item has left the UK, it will be transferred to your local sorting office, ready for delivery to your home. Please note that we are unable to track your order when it has been delivered to your destination country, however you may wish to contact your postal services for further information. Please reference your tracking number. We can only offer full electronically tracked service if you opt for FedEx delivery.
How will I know if my prescription is in date?
Unless your prescription states otherwise your prescription must be less than 2 years old if you are under 70 years of age, and less than 1 year old if you are over 70. If your prescription has expired you will need to have your eyes tested before we can supply you with new prescription eyewear.
How do I get a prescription?
Your optician will provide you with a new prescription at the end of your eye examination,which he or she are obliged to do by law. If your optician does not give you your prescription simply ask for a copy, they will be happy to provide. It must be a clear, legible copy of your eye test results and you should not feel under pressure to purchase a pair of glasses from their particular practice.
I can't understand what is written on my prescription?
We would advise that you contact the Optician that tested your eyes and ask for clarification. If that's not possible you can post it to us at Eyewear Heaven PO Box 157, Bolton BL1 9TJ or email a copy to us at [email protected] and we will try to unravel it for you.
Can I order frames with lenses which have no prescription in them?
Yes, simply select 'Plano' (which means no power) in the prescription fields when you are ordering online.
If you would just like to buy the frames on their own then you can click on the 'Frame Only' option.
Can you get my prescription by looking at a pair of my existing glasses?
This can be done but we don't advise it. Your glasses can be made much more accurately using a written prescription. When glasses are made they are manufactured to certain tolerances. If your original glasses have been made at the outer limit of the tolerance band there is a chance that the new pair may exceed the original tolerance band and reduce the clarity of your vision. If you have lost your prescription your optician will provide you with a copy if it's in date.
Do I require a distance, intermediate or near glasses?
For your lenses choose "near" if your glasses are required for reading or close up work. Choose "distance" if your glasses are required for seeing objects far away such as watching television, use at the cinema or driving and choose "intermediate" if your glasses are required for VDU (Visual Display Unit) use. If you need advice about which option is the most appropriate, please ask your optician at the time of the eye test.
Can I use my contact lens prescription for ordering glasses with?
Unfortunately not. Your contact lens and your spectacle prescription may seem the same but they usually have differences. You must have your eyes tested and a prescription issued for use with glasses.
What is my pupillary distance (PD), and how do I get it?
Your PD is the distance between the centers (pupils) of each of your eyes, measured in millimeters. We use your PD measurement when we make your glasses so that we can position the optical center of the lens (which gives you the best vision) directly above your pupil.
Your PD can be provided by your optician and we highly recommend that you do ask for it when you have your eyes tested. Alternatively, you may also choose to use the national average PD, which is provided for you as a default when ordering or please see our guide on how to measure your PD yourself.
Can my PD measurement be taken from an old pair of glasses?
Yes. If you wish to do this you need to write in the comments box on the order page that this is what you intend to do. Then send your glasses to us at: Eyewear Heaven PO Box 157, Bolton BL1 9TJ by recorded or special delivery. We can't accept any responsibility for lost glasses unless they have been signed for by us to acknowledge receipt.
What is the maximum prescription you can provide lenses for?
We can offer a maximum prescription of a + or- 10 sphere (SPH) and + or – 3 cylinder (CYL). We will endeavour to cater for all prescriptions. If your prescription is out of our standard range you can contact us at [email protected]. If this applies to you we can usually have lenses especially made for your prescription for an extra charge of £20 per lens.
Frames and Lenses
Do the prices for glasses shown include lenses?
Yes, all prices for our Prescription Glasses include FREE Standard (CR39) Lenses with FREE Anti-Reflective coating and FREE Tough coating. There is also a range of thinner lenses, tints, coatings & treatments that you can choose from too. Our Prescription Sunglasses include FREE lenses and FREE Suntints.
Can you re-glaze my existing frames?
Yes, simply drop us a line at [email protected] and let us do the rest!
Are your frames CE marked?
Yes, we only provide high quality frames which have the CE mark of approval.
How will I know what size frame to order?
The easiest way to find the right frame size which will fit comfortably, is to get the dimensions from a current pair of glasses you already own or a friends. On one of the arms you will usually find three measurements, the first two separated by a square. Our size guide will help with this.
What if my frames require adjusting after I receive them?
If your feel your frames require an adjustment, most optical practices will carry this out for you. Usually they will do this without a charge but in some cases a small fee may be applicable. We are happy to make any alterations that you request before we send your glasses to you.
What are the lenses made of?
We use lightweight CR39 plastic lenses (1.5 index) as our standard lenses. We also supply thinner plastic lenses in 1.59, 1.6, 1.67 & 1.74 indexes. For further information about lenses see our lens guide.
Do you sell prescription sunglasses and tinted lenses for spectacles?
Yes, you can choose from a variety of coloured tints (with standard 15-20% light transmission); glasses can also be made with photochromic lenses which change with the lighting conditions. This type of lens is clear in normal lighting conditions, but it tints under sunlight and includes a 100% UV filter.
Either type of lens can be fitted to spectacle frames or any of the sunglasses which are indicated as 'glazable'. These options can be specified when ordering after you have selected a frame. We also have a range of Prescription Sunglasses which include Free tints and Prescription Lenses.
Who supplies your lenses?
The majority of our lenses are supplied by Zeiss for certain complex prescriptions we do occasionally source lenses from an subsidiary company of Zeiss.
What types of lens coatings, treatments & tints do you provide?

Can hardcoated lenses get scratched.
Yes they can. Hard coatings prevent small scratches and reduce the severity of larger scratches but they do not generally make lenses totally scratch resistant. However, Essilor is the first manufacturer in the UK to offer a guarantee against scratches on AR coated lenses. Crizal Forte UV lenses come with a special two year guarantee which covers scratching and manufacturing defects.
Do you sell bifocal or varifocal lenses online?
No, we do not offer bifocal & varifocal lenses online because they do require very precise measurements. If you can supply measurements or you require a re-glaze we will be happy to do this for you.
Can I specify vertical fitting heights for my lenses?
Yes, we can glaze your lenses to any vertical fitting height that you request. For this to be done you will need an Optician to measure these heights whilst you are wearing the frame model & size that you wish to buy. In most cases this is not necessary and we will glaze your lenses to ‘datum’, which is the mid point between the top and the bottom of the frame which is the industry norm.
